Why Choose the 2024 Nissan Ariya?

Electric vehicles are more popular than ever and dozens of manufacturers have launched new models in this category over the last few years. In this crowded marketplace, it can be difficult to find the model that best fits your needs. The 2024 Nissan Ariya is one of these new models, but we believe its attributes make it stand out from its competition. Here’s how:

Up to 482 kilometres of range

The 2024 Nissan Ariya is a very modern electric SUV that benefits from the latest in EV tech, which allows it to offer more power and more range than most other models in its category. Indeed, the Ariya offers multiple powertrain configurations depending on the trim level, which means everyone can find something that fits their needs and their budget. The entry-level Ariya Engage comes with a single-motor front-wheel drive powertrain and a 63-kWh battery that delivers 214 horsepower and up to 346 kilometres of range. Drivers who want additional range can opt for the Evolve+ and Venture+ models, which bring the output to 238 horsepower and range to 458 kilometres and 482 kilometres respectively, thanks to a larger 87 kWh battery.

The available e-4ORCE AWD powertrain, one of Ward’s ten-best powertrains for 2023, brings added capabilities and performance to the Ariya, starting with the Evolve AWD model, which offers 335 horsepower and 330 kilometres of range. Stepping up to the Platinum+ AWD and Premiere AWD models brings the same output of 389 horsepower and 426 kilometres of range.

The latest in-car technologies

The 2024 Nissan Ariya benefits from all of the latest infotainment and driver assistance features from Nissan, such as an enhanced version of the ProPILOT assist system. This technology builds upon the system seen in models such as the Rogue and Pathfinder by adding autonomous lane change capabilities for the first time in any Nissan vehicle. Another new technology is the ProPILOT Park system which takes control of steering and braking duties in order to guide the Ariya into a parking spot, making city driving easier and more convenient than ever. In terms of infotainment, the 2024 Ariya comes standard with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and the ability to perform system updates over the air, thus ensuring that the vehicle always remains up-to-date in the tech department.

A very practical package

While some electric vehicles make concessions to comfort and practicality in their search for better efficiency, this is not the case for the 2024 Nissan Ariya. Indeed, this model benefits from generous amounts of interior space as well as clever solutions that improve storage and comfort. For example, the Ariya comes standard with Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats that use techniques developed by NASA in order to provide optimal comfort on long journeys. An available adjustable center console can be moved forward or backward to adapt to drivers of any height while the innovative center storage bin can create a table that makes working or having lunch while out on the road more convenient.
