Nissan Unveils All-New 2025 Murano with Premium Design and Advanced Features

The fourth-generation Nissan Murano arrives with many improvements to create a more luxurious and technologically advanced crossover experience. Set to reach dealerships in early 2025, the new Murano boasts a wider body, enhanced safety features, and a range of comfort-focused upgrades.

Refined Exterior and Interior Design

Nissan has given the 2025 Murano a significant makeover, increasing its overall width by more than 2.6 inches. The exterior features ultra-thin "Crystal Cube" LED headlights and a dramatic rear LED taillight element that spans the entire width of the vehicle. Higher trim levels offer 21-inch wheels and two-tone paintwork options.

Inside, the Murano adopts a modern, minimalist approach with a horizontal design theme. The cabin now includes dual 12.3-inch displays as standard, with a capacitive-touch panel for climate controls. A unique dashboard finisher called Murano Glass incorporates colour-shift graphics, adding a touch of elegance to the interior.

Advanced Technology and Connectivity

The 2025 Murano comes equipped with a range of new technologies. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while SL and Platinum grades offer Google built-in with Google Maps and Assistant. The crossover also introduces new driver-assistance features such as Invisible Hood View and a 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor.

Nissan has enhanced the ProPILOT Assist system, with the 1.1 version available on higher trims using navigation data to adjust speed proactively for curves. The Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite comes standard across all grades.

Comfort and Convenience Upgrades

For the first time, the Murano offers available massaging front seats. Other comfort features include standard heated front seats, steering wheel, and washer nozzles. Higher trims add ventilated front seats, a panoramic moonroof, and 64-colour ambient lighting.

The rear seats now incorporate Nissan's Zero Gravity design for improved support, and the cargo area offers 931.6 litres of storage with seats up and 1,798 litres with them folded.

New Powertrain and Performance Enhancements

Under the hood, the 2025 Murano features a new 2.0-litre VC-Turbo engine producing 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and standard Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. Nissan has also made improvements to the suspension and steering for a smoother ride.
