Here’s What You Can Do with the New MyNISSAN App

The new MyNISSAN app makes owning a Nissan vehicle more convenient than ever before by consolidating all parts of the ownership experience in an easy-to-use app directly on your phone or smartwatch. Here are a few things it can do for you.

Scheduling maintenance and viewing your financial services details

The MyNISSAN app makes it easy for you to schedule a maintenance appointment with our service department. When your vehicle is due for a service, the app will remind you to book an appointment, which you can do at the touch of your screen. You can also choose to receive notifications for available promotions or service campaigns that apply to your own Nissan vehicle. The app also makes it easy to access all of the details about your Nissan Financial services account directly on your phone, giving you more control over your ownership experience.

Controlling features remotely

Like other automotive apps on the market, the new MyNissan app also allows you to control many of your vehicle’s features remotely. For example, you can lock and unlock your vehicle from anywhere, which is handy when you don’t remember if you’ve locked the doors or not and are already quite far from your vehicle. In addition, you can start and stop the engine remotely in order for the cabin to be at a comfortable temperature when you get in. Unlike a traditional remote starter, the app doesn’t rely on radio signals that can get blocked by buildings and interference, meaning that you can be confident that your Nissan has responded to your every command. In some models, the app even lets you adjust the climate control system in order to give you even more control and provide an optimal level of comfort all year long.

Features unique to the Ariya

Since the Nissan Ariya is the first of the new generation of electric vehicles from Nissan, it benefits from a few exclusive features in the MyNISSAN app. Indeed, if you own an Ariya, you can use the app to monitor the status of the battery at all times. This means that you can see the current percentage and the estimated range of your vehicle before you head out simply by looking at your phone. When the Ariya is plugged into a charger, you are also informed about the status of charge and the time until the battery is full.
