A First Look at the 2024 Nissan Versa

The 2024 Nissan Versa is a stylish and modern sub-compact sedan that combines the latest safety and connectivity technologies with an affordable price and a practical size. Here’s a closer look at what its versions have to offer.

The Versa S

The entry-level 2024 Nissan Versa S is the most affordable version of this small sedan, and indeed, the most affordable Nissan vehicle on the Canadian market, with an MSRP of $20,298. Despite this, the Versa S is surprisingly well equipped for its class, with standard features such as an acoustic laminated windshield, power, windows, power mirrors, power locks, keyless entry, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, a vanity mirror for the driver, hands-free text messaging, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, lane-departure warning, and automatic high-beams.

Of course, like all 2024 Nissan Versa models, the S trim level is powered by an efficient 1,6L four-cylinder engine that delivers 122 horsepower and 114 ft-lb of torque through a standard 5-speed manual transmission or an optional Xtronic CVT.

The Versa SV

The 2024 Nissan Versa SV adds several additional features to the S trim level, for an MSRP of $21,998. These additions include 16-inch alloy wheels, individual tire pressure display, automatic headlamps, heated side-view mirrors, body-colour door handles, upgraded cloth upholstery, a 60/40 split folding rear seat, push-button start, a map pocket on the front seat, a front center armrest, driver attention monitoring, rear door alert, a 7-inch screen in the instrument panel, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Sirius XM satellite radio, wireless device charging, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Xtronic CVT transmission is standard on this trim level, as it is on the Versa SR.

The Versa SR

With an MSRP of $23,398, the 2024 Nissan Versa SR is the top-of-the-line model in the Versa lineup. This position gives it access to equipment such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, a dark chrome grille, mirrors with integrated turn signals, a trunk lip spoiler, SR-specific upholstery and interior trim, heated front seats, automatic climate control, intelligent cruise control, the intelligent key system, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a six-speaker sound system.
